Statement Mirror Studio is a sculptural, design-led making session created especially for older kids and tweens who love working with their hands and expressing their personal style. Using a square mirror base, makers will build up textured frames with sculpting materials, exploring form, balance and surface before finishing their piece with paint.
This class encourages creative risk-taking and confidence. There is no template to follow. Each mirror becomes a statement piece shaped by the maker’s own ideas, from clean and graphic to playful and expressive. The focus is on experimentation, problem solving and trusting your creative instincts.
Class numbers are kept small to allow time, space and guidance as kids work through more complex techniques.
Ages: 8+ (ideal for tweens)
Parents: This is a drop-off session
